Custom Bag Sampling & Order Process

Use this process to prepare a custom bag inquiry and agree the product, commercial terms and quality requirements before production. Most regular designs start from 50 pieces and sampling typically takes about 7 days after the specification is confirmed; both are checked for the selected project.

From brief to delivery

01 · Send the brief

Provide the bag type or reference, intended use, dimensions, quantity, destination, logo, packaging and requested delivery date.

02 · Review feasibility

We review materials, construction, customization, MOQ, documentation needs and whether the project fits an in-house factory or an audited manufacturing partner.

03 · Confirm sample terms

Samples are charged according to the product and customization. For a qualifying larger order, the sample charge may be credited against the bulk order value. Sample shipping is quoted separately.

04 · Approve the sample

Check dimensions, materials, appearance, compartments, branding and workmanship. Requested changes and final approval are recorded before mass production.

05 · Confirm the bulk order

Our standard arrangement is a 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. Alibaba Trade Assurance and T/T bank transfer are accepted. Final terms appear in the quotation or proforma invoice.

06 · Produce, inspect and pack

Production follows the approved sample and written specification. Inspection criteria, labels, packing, shipment responsibilities and documents are agreed for the order.

What is confirmed in writing

Product specification, materials, dimensions, colors and logo artwork.
Quantity by design and color, sample charge, MOQ and production schedule.
Payment method, currency, deposit and balance timing.
Inspection criteria, packaging, labeling and required documents.
Delivery terms, destination, responsibilities and estimated shipping schedule.

Special products, destinations or order values may require different terms. The confirmed quotation, proforma invoice or Alibaba Trade Assurance order governs the project.

Questions before you order

Are samples free?

No. Samples are charged by product and customization. For qualifying larger bulk orders, the sample charge may be credited against the order value when this is written in the quotation or proforma invoice.

How long does a sample take?

About 7 days is typical after the specification and materials are confirmed. Complex development or special materials can take longer.

Who manages production if a partner factory is used?

The Bags Star project team still manages the requirement review, sample approval, production follow-up, quality coordination and delivery communication.
